A public art commission for the entrance hall of AIINA Cultural Center Morioka in Iwate Prefecture in northern Japan. Developed from a basic geometric principle and inspired by the formation of clouds, the object feels light and weightless despite it’s size and considerable mass. (Cirrus Radiatus is a type of cloud characterized by thin, curved wisp-like strands.) The object consists of approximately 120 fiberglass-reinforced polymer elements on a metal-frame. The individual parts were built in a shipyard in Newport Beach, California, and shipped in pieces to Iwate, where they were assembled in the entrance area of the AIINA building at a height of 35 meters.

岩手県盛岡市にあるアイーナ（いわて県民情報交流センター）のエントランスホールに設置されたパブリックアート。基本的な幾何学的原理をもとに、雲の形成に着想を得て制作された作品は、そのかなりの大きさ、質量にもかかわらず、軽く、無重力のようにさえ感じられる。(Cirrus Radiatusとは、細く曲線を描いた、細い筋を特徴とする雲の一種。放射状雲) 金属製のフレームに、約120個のグラスファイバー強化ポリマーのパーツで構成されている。カリフォルニア州ニューポートビーチの造船所で制作され、岩手に輸送された後、35m高さのアイーナビルのエントランスで組み立てられた。
