Sculpture in the park of the Tokyo Midtown Tower complex in Akasaka, Minato (Architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill) next to of the 2121 Design Sight Museum by Issey Miyake. Based on the transformed structure of an icosahedron, the fragmentary object consists of 210 modular elements made of cast aluminum. The pavilion-like sculpture invites visitors to experience an unusual spacial situation, which seems not to be part of the surrounding space.
