The centerpiece of this acoustic installation is a water-filled labyrinth consisting of 16 identical modules made of FRP. Small motors keep the water moving while analog sensors register wave patterns. The electrical impulses from these wave patterns cause small mechanical hammers to strike strings and membranes of found instruments in a former music classroom of a one-hundred year old Japanese elementary school. The result is a concert of constantly changing harmonic and complex rhythmic patterns. A simple analog " thinking machine " plays improvisations "inspired" by the movements of water in a controlled system.

この音響インスタレーションの中心は、FRPで作られた16個の同じモジュールで構成された、水で満たされたラビリンスです。小型モーターが水を動かし、アナログセンサーが波のパターンを記録する。この波紋の電気的インパルスによって、小さな機械的ハンマーが、100年前の日本の小学校の元音楽教室で見つかった楽器の弦や膜を打ちます。その結果、常に変化するハーモニーと複雑なリズムのパターンが生まれる。シンプルなアナログの「考える機械」が、制御されたシステムの中で、水の動きから「インスピレーションを得た」即興演奏を行う。
