Postcards from Eden" is the second installation based on a novel by Stanislaw Lem. In his book "Eden", Lem describes the travels and discoveries of three astronauts who accidentally land on an undiscovered planet that is completely alien to them. They encounter landscapes, organisms, machines, industrial plants, and a civilization that bears no resemblance to anything in their field of experience. Trying to make sense of what they see, become a constant cycle of developing new theories and dismissing them again. After repairing their ship, they leave this world without finding out anything about its workings.

「エデンからの葉書」は、スタニスワフ・レムの小説を原作とするインスタレーションの第2弾です。レムの小説『エデン』には、完全に異質な未知の惑星に偶然降り立った3人の宇宙飛行士の旅と発見が描かれています。彼らは、自分たちの経験とは似ても似つかない風景、生物、機械、工業プラント、そして文明に遭遇します。そして、見たものを理解しようとするあまり、新たな理論を生み出しては、またそれを否定するというサイクルが繰り返されます。船を修理した後、結局彼らはこの世界の仕組みについて何も知ることなく、この世界を後にすることとなります。
